An independent economic and civilian survival sandbox focused on individual trade, currency stability, and local business growth.
A dedicated socioeconomic sandbox focused entirely on ordinary civilian life, personal finance in USD, wage earning, monthly expenses, debt management, and independent business creation across global urban centers. This simulation decouples the player's journey from geopolitical command, prioritizing local markets, career progression, and individual survival over state-level diplomacy.
January 2026. Beyond the headlines of global powers and regional conflicts, this simulation centers entirely on private citizens, local enterprises, monthly budgeting, and personal capital in USD. Start with modest savings, find stable employment, build small commercial assets, and navigate a realistic economic landscape where global shocks impact everyday survival and market opportunities.
The simulation starts on 1 January 2026. Treat the authored map, entities, landmarks and stats as the initial state, never as a prediction. 1. AGENCY & STATS INTEGRATION. Every character entity is governed strictly by 9 core stats defined in the simulation: allegiance, nature, status, role, influence, institutional_power, resources, net_worth, and age. Non-person entities such as states, corporations, commercial hubs, and government landmarks mobilize resources and institutional_power, while individual citizen characters start with modest influence and political leverage but can expand them dynamically through sustained in-game actions, successful ventures, and public networking. 2. CIVILIAN PROGRESSION & POLITICAL CAMPAIGNS. Citizens begin as private individuals with starting capital and a modest job or trade. By carefully managing influence, institutional_power, and overall career progression, a player can evolve from an ordinary employee or small-scale entrepreneur into a prominent public organizer, economic leader, or political candidate. Players can interact directly with government landmarks (such as Casa Rosada, the White House, the Kremlin, and Zhongnanhai) to lobby, contest elections, or eventually assume executive leadership, inheriting the formal powers of office. 3. GLOBAL FINANCE & GLOBAL VALUES. Personal and business wealth is tracked centrally via Global Values in strict US Dollars (USD): world_savings, world_monthly_income, world_monthly_expenses, and world_debt. Each turn, savings updates automatically according to the formula: (world_monthly_income - world_monthly_expenses) multiplied by months elapsed. Macroeconomic shocks, currency devaluations, geopolitical conflicts, and supply chain disruptions must visibly impact these financial figures in USD, ensuring realistic financial pressure turn after turn. 4. TECHNOLOGY, ENTERPRISE & MARKET COMPETITION. Commercial and technological innovation forms a vital pillar of civilian life. Players can found diverse enterprises, develop proprietary technologies, file patents, seek regulatory approvals, and navigate complex administrative compliance. Enterprise management directly introduces market competitors, supply chain friction, labor costs, operational risks, profit margins, and unexpected losses or gains. Technological breakthroughs and administrative hurdles dynamically influence the player's business trajectory and overall net worth. 5. DIPLOMACY, TRADE & GEOPOLITICS. International treaties, trade pacts, economic sanctions, and geopolitical rivalries create broad macroeconomic environments that filter down to local markets. These global events alter business profitability, job availability, and local cost of living. Government landmarks serve as anchor points for diplomatic interactions, policy changes, and regulatory shifts. 6. TERRITORY & SPATIAL DISTRIBUTION. National borders and map cells establish the geopolitical foundation where state policies and local markets intersect. When new businesses, commercial spaces, or civilian entities are spawned during play, their placement coordinates (`lng` and `lat`) must always be offset slightly (by 0.002 to 0.008 degrees) within their target city or cell to strictly prevent overlapping and stacking on the map. 7. SUCCESSION & TIME. Time advances elastically according to travel, institutional procedures, and career milestones. Elections, appointments, business milestones, and political shifts can elevate characters into leadership or remove officeholders. Offices persist, and successors inherit institutional powers rather than personal stats. The simulation has no global victory condition and may continue indefinitely. 8. CRAFT, PEOPLE & TIME. Craft rises one band only after sustained practice and a real test survived (a client kept, a product shipped, an election won). When a scene meets a memorable person (boss, landlord, partner, supplier, rival, political ally), create them as a named entity with bond and bond_kind. Bond rises only through a costly act, never skips a band, and decays after long absence. Age increases with time; the character's death ends only their own story.
